Tsutaya Bookstore Taga City Library (Address: 2-4-3, Building A North, Tagajo Station, Taga City, Miyagi Prefecture) will open for the first time in Tohoku from Thursday, April 28, 2022 to Sunday, May 22, 2022 held. We will hold POP UP STORE of “Pandorobou”.

“Pandorobou” is the work of “Keiko Shibata”, an illustrator and picture book writer living in Kochi Prefecture.
Published in April 2020, KADOKAWA is a very popular series that is in its third edition.
You can enjoy various products such as stationery, miscellaneous goods and sweets centered on the protagonist “Pandorobo” in a space where you feel lost in the world of picture books. In addition, we will hold various events during POP UP STORE to present the fun of the picture book world to the children of Tohoku.

1. Keiko Shibata Yomikise – Book Communication Between Parent and Child –
Date and time: April 29, 2022 (Gold) 14:00～15:00
Venue: Reading Kise Room, 1F, Taga Castle Library
Capacity: 10 groups (preschool children and their guardians) *advance reservation required
Abstract: Keiko Shibata will cooperate with the “Children’s Reading Week” to hold a talk event and read Kise on the theme of “Book Parent-Child Communication”.
Reservation method: From April 1 (Friday), register at the counter on the 1st floor of the Taga Castle Library. Registration will end as soon as capacity is reached.

2. Keiko Shibata autograph session
Date and time: April 29, 2022 (Gold) 15:30～16:30
Venue: Tsutaya Bookstore Taga Castle Library 1st Floor Event Space
Capacity: 20 people *advance reservation required
Target Book: Works by Keiko Shibata* Book products only
Summary: We will be holding an autograph session for those who have purchased Keiko Shibata books in our store and wish to do so. Hand-drawn portraits of Keiko Shibata can also be drawn. Up to 1 signature per person and up to 2 comics (or 2 pets) per book.
Reservation method: From April 1 (Friday), please show the purchase receipt to the staff at the counter on the 1st floor of the Tsutaya Bookstore, Taga Castle Library. Registration will end as soon as capacity is reached.
▼ Manga Conditions / Precautions
・Please take off your mask and check your face, but please do not speak during this time. After wearing the mask, you can talk to Keiko Shibata. *Acrylic sheet is in between.
・If you do not want to remove the mask or want a portrait of someone who is not present, please prepare a photo or an image of your smartphone.
・If you want a portrait of your pet, be sure to prepare a photo or image from your smartphone. Pets are not allowed in the lobby on the day of the event.

3. Bread making bread
Date and time: April 29 (Gold) to May 8 (Sun), 2022 10:00～18:00
Location: Building A, North Building, Tagajo Station
Summary: During the period, Tsutaya Bookstore, Library, FamilyMart !! (Convenience Store), and PUBLIC HOUSE 4 facilities will place one of the “Kokiko”, “Salt”, “Sato”, “Butter” cards respectively (restaurant ). It would be us asking our customers to collect all four types of cards and help them make the bread. If you collect 4 types of cards and use one of the services in the facility, you will receive an original Pan Dorobo sticker. You will receive a sticker for every receipt you receive from the library on the day of the event, or from TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE/Famima!!/PUBLIC HOUSE/Cafe.
*Maximum 1 sticker per person will be discontinued as soon as the stickers are sold out.

4. Bread sales activities

Summary: During Golden Week, we will cooperate with nearby bakeries to sell bread. Upcoming bakeries will be launched one after another.
